Düsseldorf: Institute of Music and Dance and Polish dance at Internationale Tanzmesse NRW 2018

Opening on 29 August and concluding on 1 September 2018, the international dance fair Internationale Tanzmesse NRW in Düsseldorf is a meeting of contemporary dance professionals and enthusiasts from all over the world. Held every two years, Tanzmesse NRW is a top-flight dance event attended by professionals representing various dance genres and forms. A showcase of several hundred exhibitors from around the globe, Tanzmesse NRW is host to presentations of dance pieces and dance films featuring some of the latest performances and choreographies. The main goal of Tanzmesse NRW is to facilitate meetings and to streamline the networking of the dance milieus in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas. This year sees the fourth visit of the Institute of Music and Dance to the event. Represented by the Deputy Director Aleksandra Dziurosz accompanied by Marta Michalak, Matylda Małecka, and Karolina Wycisk, the Institute will showcase itself in the company of the Zawirowania Dance Theatre, and another Polish artist, Maciej Kuzminski.

 

While attending this year’s edition of Internationale Tanzmesse NRW in Düsseldorf, the Institute of Music and Dance will promote the CAŁY POLSKI TANIEC [ALL OF POLISH DANCE] programme, among others by screening a film comprising trailers of Polish artists and institutions submitted to the Institute of Music and Dance.
